Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jae Wilco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iqbal Al Mamood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al Mamood is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Mamute Pequenino. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilco fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Al Mamood tries for a takedown but Wilco sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Iqbal Al Mamood seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Al Mamood gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wilco to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wilco stands up over Al Mamood, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Al Mamood feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Jae Wilco will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Wilco counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wilco uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Al Mamood.
Al Mamood connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Wilco's hands.

Wilco wants to clinch up but Al Mamood keeps it at a distance.

Al Mamood fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wilco sprawls well initially but Al Mamood persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
