Diamond shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pettis's guard.
Pettis avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Diamond trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Pettis is striking but Diamond is not phased and passes to half guard.
Pettis is trying to control but Diamond passes into side control!

Diamond looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Pettis manages to get back to half guard.
Pettis works his way to full guard. Good work.

Pettis pushes a forearm under Diamond 's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Diamond is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
