The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morimasa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Morimasa swings for the body but Vee moves out of range.
Morimasa misses with a looping right.

Morimasa pushes Vee up against the cage in a clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Vee avoids a wild elbow strike from Morimasa.
Vee will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Morimasa up against the cage.
Morimasa throws an elbow but it misses.
Morimasa is looking to control Vee's arms but Vee gets an underhook and turns him. Now Morimasa has his back to the cage.

Vee lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Miyake Morimasa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
