PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Lontrame (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galron Taggart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lontrame comes to the cage accompanied by Have A Cigar by Pink Floyd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Lontrame misses.
Vincent Lontrame seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lontrame lands a nice shot that snaps Taggart's head back.
Taggart tries to close the distance and clinch but Lontrame swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Taggart pushes Lontrame away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lontrame gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
You can see the frustration on Taggart's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

The referee warns Taggart that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Taggart stops Lontrame from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lontrame postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Taggart looks a forlorn figure.

Lontrame scores with a head kick. Taggart tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

Taggart manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lontrame on his heels. He'll look to pass Lontrame's guard now, I'm sure.
