The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da cracks Hendricks with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hendricks clinches up with Da and pushes him back against the cage.
Da digs a right hand underneath Hendricks's ribcage. Hendricks let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Hendricks has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Da uses from the top position.
Hendricks is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Da has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hendricks is proving hard to escape from.

Hendricks lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Da!

Da is trying desperately to improve position.

Hendricks working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Da turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Hendricks off and cradles Da's limp body as Hendricks celebrates with his corner.
