Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Saguro Takada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Moe Lester (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lester has chosen I Feel Wonderful as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Moe Lester was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lester bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Lester connects with a single shot there.

Lester gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Takada to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

That was a close round but I would say that Saguro Takada will probably get the nod.

Lester connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Lester throws a low kick but it's checked well by Takada.

Takada changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lester tries to avoid it but Takada manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lester to the ground. Lester escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lester connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Takada throws a nice looking combination but Lester bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lester.
Sloppy strikes from Takada. Those never looked like landing.
Takada with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lester to score with a decent uppercut.
Takada closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lester throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Takada on the side of the head.

Lester fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Takada has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Moe Lester seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Takada.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Lester uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Lester jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Lester throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Takada stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Lester counters with a low kick, right behind Takada 's knee.
Takada is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Lester throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Takada on the side of the head.

Lester connects with a leg kick. Takada looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lester tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Takada manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lester throws a leg kick but Takada sees it coming and moves out of range.
Takada shoots in and drives through. Lester sprawls well.
Takada sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Takada takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Takada tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Lester scores with a head kick. Takada tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

and Lester counters with a nice low kick that buckles Takada's knee momentarily.
Oh Takada is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That kick from Lester tenderised Takada's leg. Takada is trying to keep his angry face on.
Lester fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Takada to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Takada looks to clinch but Lester throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Takada taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
