Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fyodor Pending (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miguel Torres has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Fyodor Pending's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pending takes a kick to the side of the head.
Torres lands with a slapping head kick.

Torres throws a series of punches but Pending moves out of range.
Nice sprawl there from Torres as Pending shoots in.

Torres connects with a solid leg kick.

Torres lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Pending has Torres pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Pending pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Torres tumbling to the mat - Pending dives into Torres's guard.

Pending stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Torres swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pending drops back, looking for a kneebar! Torres looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Torres looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Torres!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Torres wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pending, who protects the arm well.
Torres is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Pending sneaks back into half guard.
Pending is pressing down on Torres's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Pending might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Pending escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Torres gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Pending isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Torres stacks Pending on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Torres!

Torres rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pending moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Pending could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
