Diaz kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Edo. G - Like That . We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Vladimir Khabensky and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sevchenko looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Diaz!
Sevchenko prevents Diaz from getting the reversal.

Sevchenko is nestled in close to Diaz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Sevchenko seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Sevchenko slips a nice elbow through Diaz's hands, connecting with Diaz's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaz is trying to maintain the position but Sevchenko is very close to passing his half guard.
Sevchenko landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Sevchenko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Diaz is staying active underneath Sevchenko, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Diaz lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sevchenko!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vlad Sevchenko dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sevchenko.
Sevchenko takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Diaz moves into range and connects with a jab.
Sevchenko is looking to clinch.
Sevchenko tries for a takedown but Diaz sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Sevchenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nick Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vlad Sevchenko.
Diaz feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sevchenkos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Sevchenko drops his hands momentarily and Diaz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nice takedown defense from Diaz. No joy for Sevchenko on that attempt.
Sevchenko shoots for a takedown but Diaz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sevchenko is breathing heavily.

Sevchenko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Diaz manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Diaz wants to get back to his feet but Sevchenko is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaz keeping moving, preventing Sevchenko from controlling successfully.
Diaz wants to stand and escape but Sevchenko is having none of it.
Sevchenko trying to control but Diaz is working from the bottom.

Diaz looking for a triangle here. Sevchenko is fighting it but it looks tight! Diaz pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Sevchenko is tapping out - this one is all over!
