Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Crown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crown has chosen Eminence Front as his entrance music. Bobby Crown has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crown swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fist stuns Crown with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fist throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Crown.
Crown thows a left - swing and a miss!
Fist throws a leg kick that misses.
A big right from Fist misses.
Crown throws a shot from downtown. Fist moves away and avoids it.
Crown connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Fist counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fist.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Crown is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Fist stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crown swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crown manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fist manages to get himself to full guard.
Crown must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kyle Fist just wasn't active enough.

Fist loads up on a big right hand but Crown slips the punch.
A bone on bone clash there as Crown blocks the leg kick.
Crown bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Fist's head.
Crown walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Fist throws a shot to the body.
Fist slips a jab and a cross from Crown.

Fist fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Crown looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Crown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Fist throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Crown misses with a hook. Fist ducked under it nicely.
Fist lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Crown at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Crown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Crown walks into a stiff left hand from Fist.

Fist fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Crown to the ground. Fist is now in Crown's guard.
Fist forces his way into half guard.

Fist is nestled in close to Crown, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Fist is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Fist lands a nice hook to Crown's body. Crown takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Crown is breathing heavily.

Fist is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Crown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
