PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Atreides (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lentti Pindegren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Atreides comes to the cage accompanied by HERE WE GOOOOO!. Lentti Pindegren told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pindegren is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Atreides can't fight it off and eventually Pindegren manages to take the fight to the floor. Atreides looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Pindegren manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Atreides manages to get himself to full guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Atreides.
I think Pindegren has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
