Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyrell Summers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baby Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Summers comes to the cage accompanied by Last Chance by Shooting Star. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baby Angel!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Summers stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Angel.
Angel staying out of range there.
Angel connects with an inside leg kick.
A combination from Angel does no damage.
Summers throws a jab but it's blocked by Angel.
Tyrell Summers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Summers misses with a wild body shot.
Summers swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Angel on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Summers drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Summers working the body and head with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Summers looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Angel is avoiding damage well.
Summers working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.

Summers tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Summers has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Summers is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Angel has escaped the position, nice work there.
Angel is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Angel is working to avoid the ground and pound but Summers connects with a decent elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Summers lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

Summers wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Angel, who protects the arm well.
Summers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Angel keeps working.
Summers works to advance to full mount. Angel defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Summers throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Summers has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Angel's face.
Angel is looking to improve his position but Summers isn't that keen on the idea.
The referee warns Angel that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Summers lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Summers looking for a guillotine from mount but Angel is having none of it.
Angel is squirming around, avoiding Summers's attempts to control the action.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Summers cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Summers can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Angel is looking to escape.
Summers throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Angel because Summers loaded up on that one.
Angel is looking to improve his position but Summers isn't that keen on the idea.
Angel is squirming around, avoiding Summers's attempts to control the action.
Summers lands a big shot there that rocks Angel but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Angel working to try and regain half guard.
Summers is landing with some decent strikes but Angel is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Summers's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Angel works Summers's body with a nice hook.
Angel scores with the left hand. Summers knows he should have avoided that one.
Summers swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Summers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Summers lands a glancing blow to the side of Angel's head.
Angel's corner calls for a 1-2. Angel obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Summers lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Angel throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Summers jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Summers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Angel changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Still in the clinch, Summers scores with a nice short uppercut.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tyrell Summers will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!


Angel buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
