Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Sinatra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lewis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Justin Moore - I Could Kick Your Ass kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Sinatra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinatra avoids the body shot from Lewis.
Lewis with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Sinatra blocks a head kick by Lewis.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sinatra. Lewis does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sinatra bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A slow jab from Lewis misses its intended target.
Sinatra pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mark Lewis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lewis takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Lewis feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sinatras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Lewis takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Sinatra manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lewis on his heels. He'll look to pass Lewis's guard now, I'm sure.

Sinatra wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lewis, who protects the arm well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sinatra is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lewis has escaped the position, nice work there.
Lewis manages to get back to half guard.
Lewis tries to roll over but Sinatra keeps him under control.
Lewis tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sinatra wants to free his trapped foot but Lewis is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Lewis tries to get to full guard but Sinatra has control of the leg.
Sinatra is stalling here. Lewis is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sinatra seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lewis has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Sinatra is looking for a sweep.
Lewis tries to advance to mount but Sinatra denies him.
Sinatra manages to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lewis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sinatra keeps working.

Sinatra is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Lewis is looking to take a break and control but Sinatra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lewis might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sinatra kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lewis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sinatra's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sinatra's back!

That was a close second round but I would say that Frank Sinatra will probably get the nod.

Lewis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sinatra shoots in looking for a takedown. Lewis tries to sprawl out of it but Sinatra keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lewis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sinatra looks to score with a jab to the body but Lewis is just out of range.

Sinatra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lewis pinned against the cage. Lewis gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Sinatra lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Sinatra drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Sinatra dives in and grabs Lewis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lewis pushes down on Sinatra's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Sinatra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sinatra missing with a left hand there. Lewis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Some bone on bone action there as Sinatra checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Mark Lewis.
I think Lewis has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
