The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mousasi misses with a double jab
and Fox counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mousasi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fox manages to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fox. Mousasi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fox misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fox avoids a punch combination nicely.

Fox lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice uppercut lands for Fox. That snapped Mousasi's head back.
Mousasi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Fox counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Gegard Mousasi has been cut.
Mousasi throws a nice looking combination but Fox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Mousasi swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Donk. Mousasi catches Fox right on the button with a cross.
Mousasi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Fox manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Fox counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fox pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mousasi slips under a jab from Fox.
Mousasi throws a series of punches but Fox moves out of range.

Fox throws a hook to the side of Mousasi's head but Mousasi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fox working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Mousasi's head.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Fox jabs Mousasi to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Mousasi missing with a left hand there. Fox was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Fox is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mousasi.

and Fox connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mousasi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Fox circles away quickly and effectively.

Mousasi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fox shoots in for a takedown but Mousasi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

and Fox counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fox shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fox showed some decent athleticism there.
Mousasi is breathing heavily.

Fox has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Fox wants to control the pace but Mousasi is squirming around nicely.

Justin Fox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
