The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Kayo, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Kayo looks to throw the jab but Swain is out of range.
Swain slips a jab and a cross from Kayo.
Swain fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Swain lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Swain needs to keep his hands up - Kayo had a free shot at his head there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Swain moves out of range as Kayo throws a body kick.

Swain tries to keep at a distance but Kayo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kayo has had enough of the clinch but Swain keeps him there for the moment.

Swain tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kayo's elbow.

Swain fails to pull guard.

Kayo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kayo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Kayo holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Swain walks into a left hand.

Swain is rocked!
Kayo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Swain.
Oh Swain is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Swain looks to clinch

Kayo circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kayo stuffs the takedown attempt from Swain. Swain gets slowly back to his feet.
Swain seems to have got his legs back now.
Kayo throws a head kick that misses.
Swain darts in trying to clinch
and Kayo counters with a straight right hand.
Swain slips a jab and a cross from Kayo.
Swain shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kayo pinned against the cage. Kayo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Swain. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Kayo defending well as Swain loads up on a big left hand.
Kayo clobbers Swain with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Swain gets a clinch.

Kayo is fighting off a takedown attempt but Swain is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Kayo to the mat. Kayo regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Swain is looking to stand up but Kayo won't let him.
Swain won't allow Kayo to sweep him here.

Kayo looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Swain passes into side control.
Kayo is not content to let Swain control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kayo is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Swain off and has taken his back!

Swain defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Kayo's arms.

Kayo is cranking Swain's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Swain! He's tightened the choke and Swain is tapping out!
