Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tomas Kaveckas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz has chosen Edo. G - Like That as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz misses with a body punch
and Kaveckas counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Diaz displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kaveckas throws out the jab.
Diaz fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Diaz sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Diaz lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kaveckas backs up against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kaveckas throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz.

Kaveckas lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diaz circles away quickly and effectively.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Diaz drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Diaz seems to have locked his on tight now - Kaveckas screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Diaz, as he picks up the win!
