Ryan comes to the cage accompanied by Cinderella Man By Eminem. Daniel Ryan could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jose Koster's chin.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koster throws a head kick that misses.
Koster misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ryan takes one on the button.
It looks like Daniel Ryan has been cut.
A head kick misses from Koster.
Ryan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Koster to the ground. Ryan is now in Koster's guard.
Koster is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Ryan wants to pass the guard but Koster is keeping the position.
Koster looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ryan advances to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ryan moves nicely into side control.
Koster is trying to get back to half guard.
Ryan decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Ryan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ryan lands in his opponent's guard.

Koster has his foot on Ryan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ryan works his way back into a safe position though.

Ryan moves away from the strike by Koster.
Ryan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ryan looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Koster looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Ryan is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Koster!
Ryan moves to back control.
Ryan has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Koster tries to escape the position.
Ryan is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Koster with him. Koster is trying to defend but Ryan has an arm under the chin now! Koster grimaces and is forced to tap out!
