The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kenzie blocks a low kick nicely.
Kenzie throws a body punch but Marshall moves out of range.
Marshall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kenzie misses with a wild combination.
Marshall scores with a one two! Kenzie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Marshall.
Kenzie blocks a head kick by Marshall.
Marshall throws a sloppy head kick and Kenzie moves out of range easily.
Kenzie scores with a jab. Marshall acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Kenzie throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Marshall swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kenzie.
Kenzie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Marshall can pounce on him.

Marshall loads up on a big right hand but Kenzie slips the punch.

Kenzie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Doug Marshall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kenzie avoids the head kick by Marshall.
Kenzie looks to land a right hand but Marshall moved out of range.
Marshall lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Marshall fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kenzie is out of range.
A punch combination from Kenzie misses.
Marshall throws a looping overhand right but Kenzie ducks down to avoid it.
Kenzie lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Some bone on bone action there as Kenzie checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
