Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Keiji Numa!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Skip Squint and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Numa blocks the low kick.
Tatsuhiko Jr chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Numa can pounce on him.
Tatsuhiko Jr shoots in for a double leg but Numa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Numa throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tatsuhiko Jr misses with a left hand
and Numa counters with a solid body kick.
Tatsuhiko Jr tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Numa is able to avoid easily.
Tatsuhiko Jr ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Numa moves away.
Tatsuhiko Jr misses with the combination.
Numa throws a nice inside leg kick.
Tatsuhiko Jr closes this distance looking for a takedown but Numa circles away.

Numa wants to land a leg kick but Tatsuhiko Jr is out of range.
Numa uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tatsuhiko Jr.
Numa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Numa ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tatsuhiko Jr moves away.

Numa lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
A looping hook to the body misses from Tatsuhiko Jr. Numa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Numa throws a leg kick but Tatsuhiko Jr sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Numa stuffs the takedown.

Numa has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Tatsuhiko Jr is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Numa.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tatsuhiko Jr connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Numa some visible discomfort.
Numa manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Numa wants to control but Tatsuhiko Jr is keeping busy.

That was a close round but I would say that Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr will probably get the nod.

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Tatsuhiko Jr around the waist but Tatsuhiko Jr pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Tatsuhiko Jr is the winner by TKO! Tatsuhiko Jr jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Akihito Tatsuhiko Jr!
