Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stephan Evurts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Hayabusa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evurts comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the Jungle. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ryu Hayabusa!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evurts avoids the body shot from Hayabusa.
Hayabusa scores with the left hand. Evurts knows he should have avoided that one.
Hayabusa throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Evurts.
Evurts pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Evurts defending well as Hayabusa loads up on a big left hand.
Hayabusa throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Evurts on the side of the head.
Evurts wants to clinch up but Hayabusa keeps it at a distance.
Hayabusa connects with a single shot there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fighters circle momentarily. Hayabusa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hayabusa cracks Evurts with an open hand slap.
Evurts misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Evurts fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hayabusa avoids it really well and circles away.
Hayabusa throws a shot from downtown. Evurts moves away and avoids it.
Hayabusa lands a big right hand that sends Evurts crashing to the mat! Hayabusa stays standing though and waves Evurts back to his feet!
Evurts is rocked!
Hayabusa connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Evurts out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryu Hayabusa!
