Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ken Tentheros!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Ken Tentheros has been cut.
Cross throws a looping overhand right but Tentheros ducks down to avoid it.
A left and a right from Cross both land. Nice combination.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tentheros fails with the takedown.
Cross loads up on a big right hand but Tentheros slips the punch.
Cross missing with a left hand there. Tentheros was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tentheros uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cross.
Cross throws a hook but Tentheros blocks it.
Tentheros lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Tentheros tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Cross lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Cross.
A big left from Cross misses.
Cross darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Tentheros misses with an uppercut. Cross saw that one coming.
Tentheros throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cross fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tentheros keeps Cross at a distance using the push kick.
A head kick misses from Tentheros.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cross is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tentheros.
Cross misses the jab.
Tentheros slips under a jab from Cross.
Cross throws a poor cross that misses
and Tentheros counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Cross is breathing heavily.
Cross takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tentheros is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cross's half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Tentheros content to control rather than advance.
Tentheros's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Tentheros not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tentheros is nestled in close to Cross, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Tentheros throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Tentheros is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Cross!
Tentheros content just to control the position here.
Tentheros working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Cross looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Tentheros! Submission of the night perhaps?
