Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sian Sissoko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wrestling Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sian Sissoko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wrestling Bot!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Hugh Johnson and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sissoko uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bot.
Bot throws a low kick, looking for Sissoko's leg but Sissoko calmly moves out of range.

Sissoko gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Bot takes a shot to the head.
Sissoko lands a good knee to the midsection. Bot won't want to take too many of those.
Bot drops down looking for an ankle pick but Sissoko pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sissoko lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sissoko.

Bot dives in and scores a takedown into Sissoko's guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sissoko is looking to stand up but Bot isn't so interested in that idea.

Sissoko is working an open guard so Bot takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A looping hook to the body misses from Bot. Sissoko does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sissoko tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Bot manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

and Bot counters by moving into the clinch.

Bot wants the takedown. Sissoko is fighting it off but Bot persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Sissoko's guard against the cage.
Sissoko wants to stand but Bot is controlling the position.
Bot wants to pass the guard but Sissoko is keeping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sissoko wants to stand and escape but Bot is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bot won't allow Sissoko to sweep him here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bot trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bot seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Bot drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bot jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bot decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Sissoko, up you get!
Sissoko lands with a thumping leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bot clinches with his opponent.

Bot jumps guard and drags Sissoko to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Sissoko wants to stand but Bot has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sissoko is breathing heavily.
Bot is adopting a defensive guard.

Bot has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sissoko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Bot tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bot throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bot managing to control the position.
Bot looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sissoko is one step ahead there.
Bot wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bot loads up on a big right hand but Sissoko slips the punch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bot keeps the fight on the outside.

Bot looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Sissoko!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wrestling Bot dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Sissoko tries to clinch but Bot moves away

and Bot counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Sissoko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bot on the ground.
Bot slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Bot slips nicely into half guard.
Still in half guard, Bot seems content to control.
Sissoko wants to control but Bot is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bot is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Sissoko!
Bot controlling the pace for now.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sissoko is in all sorts of trouble here.

Bot is landing with some decent strikes but Sissoko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Bot takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bot scoring with strikes but Sissoko is staying in there.
Bot landing strikes from the mount.
BOOM! Bot connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bot has hold of Sissoko's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Sissoko manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bot controlling from the full mount.

Bot landing strikes, looking to finish!

Bot is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sissoko has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sissoko is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Bot takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Bot is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Sissoko is surviving well by controlling Bot's body position as best he can.
Sissoko squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Bot controlling the pace for now.
Bot landing punches.

Bot fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bot lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sissoko is trying to stand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wrestling Bot showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Wrestling Bot has got the better of the ground game so far.

Bot stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Bot looking to score a takedown here. Sissoko is defending well but Bot drives through and ends up in Sissoko's guard.

Sissoko wants to stand and escape but Bot is having none of it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Sissoko wants to get back to his feet but Bot passes into half guard.

Bot takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Bot is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Bot is landing with some decent strikes but Sissoko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Bot lands a heavy elbow.
Bot looking to control and managing it successfully.

Bot lands with some strikes.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sissoko is trying to stand.
Bot tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bot has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bot lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Bot has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Bot sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Bot with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Sissoko keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bot controlling the pace for now.

Bot's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Wrestling Bot.

Bot scores a takedown into full mount!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Sissoko is bucking up trying to escape but Bot cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

And that's the end of the fight!
Wrestling Bot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Bot winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
