Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Franck Pompi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sidney Wonder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pompi comes to the cage accompanied by French National Anthem. Wonder has chosen Unforgiven 3 as his entrance music. Sidney Wonder will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pompi misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Wonder to counter with a crisp jab.
Wonder fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pompi looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Wonder stuffs the takedown attempt from Pompi. Pompi gets slowly back to his feet.

Pompi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wonder to the mat! Wonder manages to get full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Wonder keeping full guard, as Pompi tries to pass.
Wonder wants to stand but Pompi is controlling the position.
Wonder keeping moving, preventing Pompi from controlling successfully.
Pompi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Pompi is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Wonder is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Wonder has escaped and now he's on top!
Wonder tries to stand but Pompi is controlling from the bottom.

Pompi is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Pompi wants to sweep here but Wonder controlling him for the moment.
Wonder wants to stand but Pompi has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wonder avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Wonder sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pompi's guard.

Pompi has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Wonder. Oh but Pompi has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Wonder goes limp - he's gone! Pompi jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
