Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larry Snooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snooper shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Diaz sprawls well. Diaz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Snooper gets slowly back to his feet.

Diaz throws a series of punches but Snooper avoids them all with ease.

Snooper drives through with a takedown into Diaz's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Snooper gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Snooper accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Diaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Diaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Diaz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Snooper is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snooper wants to get back to his feet but Diaz drags him back down.

Diaz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Snooper circles away quickly and effectively.

Snooper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Diaz was covering up waiting for the punch and Snooper finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Diaz might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Snooper kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Snooper has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Snooper get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Snooper stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Diaz runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
