Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ikki Minami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minami comes to the ring accompanied by I'm Turning Japanese by The Vapors. Jones has chosen Pimp C. Skrypture, C$krilla ft. Bun B & The Isleys - One Day as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Jones!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Minami misses with a body kick.
Jones lands a head kick. Minami smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Minami takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Minami rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A combination from Minami does no damage.
Jones scores with a jab to the body.
Minami tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Minami pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Minami tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Minami throws a right and a left that both miss.

Minami takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Minami is breathing heavily.
Jones with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Minami shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Jones lands a jab to Minami's midsection.

Jones pushes Minami up against the ropes in a clinch.
Jones lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Minami blocks an elbow strike from Jones.
Minami tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position.

Jones creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Minami's defenses.

It looks like Ikki Minami has been cut.

Jones digs a right hand underneath Minami's ribcage. Minami let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Jones has Minami pressed against the ropes, preventing Minami from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Minami is trying to break the clinch but Jones is controlling him.
Jones lands a left hand.
Jones lands a hook to the side of the head.

Minami is rocked!
Jones lands a big right hand that drops Minami! The killer instinct kicks in and Jones finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Jones!
