Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tatu Tikki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Topps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tikki's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ratatat - Loud Pipes. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Tikki.
Tikki on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Tatu Tikki has been cut.
Topps looks to score with a jab to the body but Tikki is just out of range.
Ian Topps seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Topps moves in looking to clinch but Tikki pushes him off.
Tikki jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Tikki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Topps swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Tikki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Tikki cracks Topps with a big right hand but Topps just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tikki postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Tikki with the ground and pound but Topps regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Topps is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tikki is working Topps over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Topps controls Tikki momentarily but Tikki frees himself.

Tikki throws and elbow that misses. Topps uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tikki's guard. Nice move by Topps!
Tikki lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Topps!
Tikki cracks Topps with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
