Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taka Hana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shadow Sinister (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sinister scores with a jab to the jaw.

Hana fails with the takedown.
Taka Hana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sinister throws a sloppy head kick and Hana moves out of range easily.
Sinister connects with a jab.
Hana looks for a takedown but Sinister sprawls well.
Hana shoots in looking for a takedown. Sinister tries to sprawl out of it but Hana keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sinister manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Taka Hana has been cut.

Hana shoots in and bounces Sinister off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Hana lands a couple of elbows.

Hana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sinister swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hana looking to sit in guard and control but Sinister gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Sinister must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hana on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Hana tries to get out of the position.

Hana might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sinister is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

Sinister postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Sinister tries to stand but Hana is controlling from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hana is pulling down on Sinister's head. It's preventing any offense from Sinister, at least for the moment.
Sinister has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hana is proving hard to escape from.

That's time! Hana's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Sinister fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Hana is out of range.

Sinister lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Sinister comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Hana.

Hana with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Sinister to score with a decent uppercut.

and Sinister counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Hana shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Sinister can't escape the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hana can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sinister is looking to escape.

Sinister tries to hold on but Hana pushes him away.

Sinister might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hana kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Hana has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sinister's face.

Hana looking to control but Sinister is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hana cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Hana cracks Sinister with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Hana lands a nice shot to the head.
Sinister is still in real trouble! Can Hana finish him?

Hana unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Sinister wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Hana celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
