Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gerry Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kelly might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gimme Shelter - Rolling Stones. Randy Ortiz has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Gerry Kelly's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kelly clinches up against the cage.
Ortiz tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Kelly's elbow.
Kelly tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kelly is looking for a takedown.
Kelly blocks a body shot from Ortiz.
Kelly throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Kelly fails to land.
Kelly tries to work over Ortiz's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ortiz is trying to drag Kelly to the mat but Kelly just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Kelly misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kelly blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
A nice left hand lands by Kelly.
Ortiz wants to break the clinch but can't.

Ortiz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Kelly seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Ortiz seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Kelly might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Kelly wants to pass the guard but Ortiz is keeping the position.

Kelly looking to sit in guard and control but Ortiz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kelly is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Kelly wants to free his trapped foot but Ortiz is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Kelly tries to close the distance and clinch but Ortiz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ortiz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kelly.
Ortiz misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kelly misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ortiz.
Ortiz moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ortiz lands a leg kick that knocks Kelly off balance momentarily.
Ortiz dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Good leg kick by Ortiz there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Oooh a lovely combination from Ortiz sends Kelly down but not out. Ortiz dives into side control looking to finish.

Kelly is rocked!
Ortiz lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Kelly! Ortiz senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Kelly out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
