Gomes comes to the cage accompanied by Body Count - Necessary Evil. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Naoto Sugawara enters the cage!

Gomes walks into a stiff left hand from Sugawara.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sugawara misses with a wild body shot.
Sugawara throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gomes sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Sugawara closes the distance and pushes Gomes back into the cage.
Gomes tries to break free but Sugawara pushes him back against the cage.

Sugawara lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gomes backwards.
Sugawara can't find room to land a body shot as Gomes controls the action.
Sugawara tries to throw a body punch but Gomes avoids it by throwing Sugawara back against the cage.

Sugawara lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Gomes tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Gomes tries to work over Sugawara's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Sugawara swings wildly with an uppercut but Gomes uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sugawara lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Gomes is trying to break the clinch but Sugawara has him pressed against the cage.
Sugawara goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Gomes can't break the clinch.
Sugawara creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Gomes with a big uppercut! Gomes tries to clinch up but Sugawara pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Gomes to the mat! Gomes covers up and Sugawara unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
