Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tadashi Masaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toni Touhu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Touhu is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by AC/DC - TNT. Tadashi Masaru has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Touhu ducks under a wild hook from Masaru.
Touhu throws a front kick aimed at Masaru's knee but Masaru avoids it well.

Touhu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Masaru!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Touhu sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Touhu jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Masaru is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Masaru and Touhu has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Touhu slows the pace down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Toni Touhu.
Donk. Touhu catches Masaru right on the button with a cross.
Masaru throws a jab but it's blocked by Touhu.
Tadashi Masaru is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Touhu misses with a takedown attempt - Masaru sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Touhu fails to land the takedown.

Touhu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Tadashi Masaru has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toni Touhu.
Touhu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Masaru.
Masaru looks to score with a jab to the body but Touhu is just out of range.

Tadashi Masaru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masaru looks to land a left hand but Touhu moved out of range nicely.
Touhu looks for a takedown but Masaru sprawls well.

Masaru throws a hook but Touhu blocks it.
Masaru misses with a double jab.
Masaru stuffs the takedown attempt from Touhu. Touhu gets slowly back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Touhu looking to sit in guard and control but Masaru gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Touhu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Masaru but Masaru pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Masaru finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Touhu with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Masaru to score with a decent uppercut.

Masaru paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Masaru looks to land a combination but Touhu avoids it well.
Masaru throws a hook but Touhu avoids it easily.

Touhu feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Touhu wants to sweep but no luck.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tadashi Masaru has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Touhu fails to land the takedown.
A combination from Masaru does no damage.

Masaru lands a left and a right that send Touhu crashing to the mat, dazed. Masaru thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Touhu is rocked!

It looks like Toni Touhu has been cut.
Tadashi Masaru is winning the standup battle so far.
Touhu takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Touhu is still on wobbly legs! Can Masaru finish him?
Masaru uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Masaru swings for the body but Touhu moves out of range.
No joy there for Masaru, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Touhu looks up at the clock. Bad move! Masaru lands a right hand from hell, dropping Touhu. Masaru pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tadashi Masaru!
