Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fook yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toru Ohta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). yu comes to the cage accompanied by MegaDeth- This Day We FIGHT!. The crowd seem to be enjoying Ohta's choice of entrance music: Technopolis. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fook yu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toru Ohta!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
yu scores with a one two! Ohta had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Ohta tries to keep at a distance but yu has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ohta misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ohta tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and yu avoids it.
yu drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Ohta gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Ohta is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

yu turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and yu manages to end up in side control.

yu manages to stand up with Ohta still on his back. Eventually Ohta drops to his feet and we're back in the standing position.

No joy there for yu, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fook yu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ohta tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but yu was well out of range. Poor timing from Ohta.

Ohta shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ohta was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
yu tries to lock up and control but Ohta gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Ohta has hold of yu's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and yu manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

yu wants to control but Ohta is having none of it.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ohta goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now yu is on top in guard.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

yu is nestled in close to Ohta, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

yu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as yu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
yu slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Ohta is trying to control the position but yu postures up.
Ohta has momentary wrist control but yu slips an elbow through the middle.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
