Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Duke Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Clark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Clark is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Uprising. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clark fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Clark's corner calls for a 1-2. Clark obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Clark throws a left and a right that both miss
and Richard connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jack Clark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clark throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Richard.

Richard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Clark defends it nicely.

Richard decides to stand back up. Richard steps back and let's Clark get back to his feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Clark stalks Richard and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Richard's face. Richard staggers backwards, shaken.

Clark connects with a body shot that sends Richard's belly button to the back.

Richard has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Richard shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Clark but Clark pushes him off and we're back to square one.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Richard is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Richard shoots for a takedown but Clark saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that Duke Richard will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Richard closes the distance and clinches up with Clark, looking for a takedown. Richard pushes Clark against the cage but Clark circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Richard decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Clark's guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Richard drops back looking for a leg! Clark is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Clark manages to kick Richard off! Richard jumps back into Clark's guard.

Clark is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Clark is pulling down on Richard's head. It's preventing any offense from Richard, at least for the moment.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

and Richard counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Clark lands a jab to the head.
Clark is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Clark might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

enabling Richard to counter with a crisp jab.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Duke Richard.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Richard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
