The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shirahama fails in his attempt to clinch.
Durden throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Shirahama counters with a good, hard body kick but Durden shrugs it off.
Durden tests Shirahama's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Durden throws a hook to the side of Shirahama's head but Shirahama sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Durden lands a nice looking body shot.
Shirahama throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Durden dips to his left and cracks Shirahama with an uppercut!
Shirahama throws a leg kick that misses.
Durden on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Shirahama throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Durden is breathing heavily.

Shirahama instigates a clinch.

Shirahama turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Shirahama has hold of Durden's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Durden seems comfortable defending it but Shirahama has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Durden is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Durden is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Shirahama couldn't care less - he's delighted!
