Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Tauno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calico James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tauno's entrance music is Pelican - Dead Between The Walls. A fine choice. James has chosen Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tony Tauno!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Calico James!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tauno takes a swing at James's ribcage but misses.
Tauno throws a body punch but James moves out of range.
James slips a jab from Tauno.
A slow jab from James misses its intended target.
James tests Tauno's chin there with a solid looking shot.
James takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tauno misses the shot to the body.
Tauno tries to clinch but James moves out of range.

James shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tauno napping and manages to drive through into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tauno tries to bench press James off him but James keeps the position.
James lands an elbow.
Tauno is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

James trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Tauno manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now James is on top in guard.

James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tauno swivels though and keeps the full guard.

James passes Tauno's left leg - he's now in half guard.
James seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tauno does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
James tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tauno knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
James works his way into side control.

James is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Tauno is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Tauno is looking to regain half guard here but James keeps moving and retains side control.

James swings around for an armbar but Tauno sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into James's guard.

James throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Tauno escapes and throws James's legs to the side, diving into side control!
James gets back to half guard.

Tauno not landing any meaningful shots this time.
James wants to improve his position but Tauno is controlling well.
James wants to get back to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
James tries to get to full guard but Tauno has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
James is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Calico James dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Tauno misses with a looping right.
Sloppy strikes from James. Those never looked like landing.
Tauno misses with an uppercut. James saw that one coming.
James moves out of range of the strikes.
James tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tauno was well out of range. Poor timing from James.
James looks to land a left hand but Tauno moved out of range nicely.
Tauno misses with a looping right.
Tauno lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but James circles away quickly and effectively.

James scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

James tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no James has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
James grinds an elbow into Tauno's temple.

James tries to advance position but instead Tauno slips a leg back in to half guard.
James not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Tauno is trying to maintain the position but James is very close to passing his half guard.
James passes to side control.
Calico James has got the better of the ground game so far.
Tauno is working to avoid the ground and pound but James connects with a decent elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Tauno gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
James takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

James looking to control but Tauno is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

James moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Tauno has worked his arm free - good work by Tauno!

James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tauno keeps working.

Tauno is not content to let James control the position.

James is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Tauno has escaped the position, nice work there.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
James creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Tauno sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Calico James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Tauno's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

James throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Tauno avoids the body shot from James.
The fighters circling - Tauno throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
James thuds a left hand into Tauno's body.

James takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
James shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tauno eats them both and turns towards James to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Tony Tauno has been cut.
James slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tauno throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
James stuns Tauno with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Calico James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
James cracks Tauno on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Tauno falls backwards against the cage. James follows up with more strikes that drop Tauno to his knees. James keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Tauno! This one is all over!
