The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diamond steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bonifacio.

Bonifacio punishes Diamond 's body with a nice straight punch.

Diamond shoots in looking for a takedown. Bonifacio tries to sprawl out of it but Diamond keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bonifacio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Bonifacio cracks a nice hook into Diamond 's ribs.
Bonifacio fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Diamond on the side of the head.
A jab from Bonifacio finds it's way through Diamond 's defenses.
Diamond is trying desperately to land a takedown but Bonifacio is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Diamond .
Diamond shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Bonifacio counters with a series of strikes. Diamond will be more careful next time no doubt.
