The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick from Grimm lands but Marley takes it in his stride.
Marley misses with a few strikes there.
Marley blocks a head kick by Grimm.
A chopping leg kick lands by Grimm.

Marley clinches.

Marley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Grimm scores with a head kick.
Marley showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Grimm.
Marley takes a kick to the side of the head.
Grimm will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Grimm tries to clinch up
and Marley counters with a left and a right that stings Grimm.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grimm throws a right and a left that both miss.
Marley misses with the combination.
Grimm slips a jab and a cross from Marley.

Marley lands a left and a right that send Grimm crashing to the mat, dazed. Marley thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Grimm is rocked!

It looks like Calvin Grimm has been cut.
Marley misses with a head kick.
Oh Grimm is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Grimm seems to have got his legs back now.

Marley throws a series of punches but Grimm avoids them all with ease.
Grimm pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Grimm feints and then cracks Marley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Marley down.
Grimm throws a sloppy head kick and Marley moves out of range easily.
Marley misses with a takedown attempt - Grimm sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Grimm gets tackled into the cage by Marley. Marley maintains the clinch.
Marley prevents Grimm from breaking the clinch.
Grimm misses with a knee to the head.
Grimm drops down looking for an ankle pick but Marley pulls his leg out and moves away.
Marley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lester Marley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Grimm tries a head kick but it misses.

Marley shoots in and drives through. Grimm sprawls well.

Marley fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Grimm, pushing him back against the cage.
Grimm swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Marley pulls Grimm into guard.
Marley utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grimm wants to control from the top but Marley keeps moving.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Grimm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Marley works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Grimm working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Grimm throws a strike but Marley rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Grimm is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Grimm wants to stand and escape but Marley is having none of it.
Grimm working a defensive guard but Marley manages to pass into side control anyway.
Grimm manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Marley decides to return to a standing position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Grimm goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Grimm stuffs the takedown.
Calvin Grimm has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lester Marley.
Marley on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Marley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Grimm circles away.
Grimm fails with a takedown attempt.
Grimm tries to score a power double leg takedown but Marley sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Grimm somewhat.
Marley fails to land with a series of punches.
Sloppy strikes from Grimm. Those never looked like landing.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Marley throws a combination. Grimm tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Marley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marley changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Grimm tries to avoid it but Marley manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Grimm to the ground. Grimm escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Grimm tries to clinch but Marley moves out of range.
Grimm tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Marley displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Grimm throws out the jab.
Grimm shoots in for a takedown but Marley shows good takedown defense.
Marley throws a right hand that Grimm ducks under and follows up with a left that Grimm also avoids with ease.

Marley feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Grimm sprawling to the canvas! Grimm rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Marley finish him?!
Marley wants to clinch.
Grimm tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Marley swivels and escapes.
Grimm gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Grimm tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Marley is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Grimm buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Grimm!! Grimm is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Marley throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
