Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between The Kicking Pokemon Hitmonlee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Omg Zulud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hitmonlee kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Hitmonlee Entrance Theme. Zulud comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Fedor Emelianenko Entrance song kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Hitmonlee clobbers Zulud with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Zulud ducks right into an uppercut from Hitmonlee.
Hitmonlee fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Zulud has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Zulud tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hitmonlee was well out of range. Poor timing from Zulud.

Zulud is looking to clinch but Hitmonlee is avoiding it.
Hitmonlee stuns Zulud with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Nice uppercut lands for Hitmonlee. That snapped Zulud's head back.
