The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Marx was covering up waiting for the punch and Jones finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Jones slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Marx takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Marx takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Jones is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Marx has escaped the position, nice work there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jones has hold of Marx's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Marx tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Jones cranks the arm and Marx screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Marx, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
