Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maurice McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark van Bommel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). van Bommel is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Metallica-Battery . Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! McDonald crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from van Bommel - the referee stops the clock and McDonald gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says van Bommel. McDonald manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

van Bommel throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McDonald stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
van Bommel connects with a right that clearly hurt McDonald. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as van Bommel proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till McDonald collapses and taps out under the pressure!
