Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taj al Din (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makao Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). al Din's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, MARI-WANA. Matsumoto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sepultura - Territory kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Makao Matsumoto!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
al Din scores with a hook to the body. Matsumoto takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
al Din stuffs the takedown.
al Din stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
It looks like Makao Matsumoto has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
al Din misses the shot to the body.
Matsumoto fails with a takedown attempt.
al Din moves out of range of the strikes.
Matsumoto doesn't succeed with the takedown
and al Din counters with a slapping leg kick.
Taj al Din has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Makao Matsumoto.
al Din gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Matsumoto.
al Din punishes Matsumoto's body with a nice straight punch.
An inside leg kick lands from al Din.
Matsumoto looks gassed!
Matsumoto takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
al Din throws a body kick that misses.
Matsumoto throws an overhand right that lands on al Din's shoulder, as al Din tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
al Din lands a right hook to the body.
al Din connects with a body shot.
A swing and a miss from al Din.
al Din scores with a body shot.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from al Din, right into the meat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Matsumoto takes one to the side of the head.
al Din throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Matsumoto ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
al Din misses with a jab, cross combination.
Matsumoto takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
al Din slips under a jab.
al Din throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
al Din circles away from the clinch attempt.
Matsumoto checks a leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Matsumoto tries for a takedown but al Din sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

and al Din makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
al Din connects with a combination that backs up Matsumoto into the cage. al Din lands a flurry of punches that gets past Matsumoto's guard. Matsumoto is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! al Din bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Taj al Din!
