Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Christer Pettersson!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettersson misses with a low kick.

Country throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pettersson's waist but Pettersson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Country off to one side.

Country cracks Pettersson with an open hand slap.
Country throws a shot from downtown. Pettersson moves away and avoids it.
Pettersson moves out of range of the strikes.
Country fails with the takedown.

Country shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pettersson manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Pettersson wants to sweep here but Country controlling him for the moment.

Country is pushing down on Pettersson's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pettersson is fighting to maintain full guard but Country has managed to sneak the leg through.

Country is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Pettersson is surviving well by controlling Country's body position as best he can.

Country jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Pettersson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Pettersson and Country has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Country slips a jab and a cross from Pettersson.
Country misses with an uppercut. Pettersson saw that one coming.
Pettersson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Country shoots for a double leg takedown but Pettersson sprawls well. He's pushed Country's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Pettersson misses with a looping left.
Country closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Country shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pettersson but Pettersson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Country shoots for a takedown but Pettersson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A looping hook to the body misses from Country. Pettersson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pettersson misses with a hook. Country ducked under it nicely.
Pettersson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Roy Country is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Country takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Both fighters circling a little - Pettersson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Pettersson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Pettersson cracks Country with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Country looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Pettersson finish him?
Oh Country is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Country gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Pettersson points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Country wakes up just in time to hear Pettersson thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Christer Pettersson!
