The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suraski uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Suckerpunch.
Suraski slips a straight right by Suckerpunch.
A big left from Suckerpunch misses.
Suraski shoots in for a double leg but Suckerpunch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Suraski shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Suraski lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Suraski is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Suckerpunch has managed to escape the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Suraski lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Suckerpunch tries to hold on but Suraski postures up.
Suckerpunch is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Suckerpunch is trying desperately to improve position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Suraski landing punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dave Suraski really struggled to get his t-shirt was on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Global Nutritional ACME (Q157) 90% ROR on Laundry logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
