Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vin Guin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diaz comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Minor-Remember The Name. Vin Guin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nick Diaz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Vin Guin!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Diaz.
Diaz lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Guin shoots in and gets a takedown into Diaz's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Diaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Diaz wants to sweep here but Guin controlling him for the moment.
Guin controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Guin postures up in Diaz's guard and throws a big left but Diaz blocks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Guin is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Guin wants to stand and escape but instead Diaz has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Guin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Diaz wants to control from the top but Guin keeps moving.

Guin pulls Diaz in to control the position.
Diaz stands and throws Guin's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Guin is looking for a sweep.
Guin taking a bit of punishment here - Diaz scoring with strikes.

Diaz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Guin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Guin wants to get back to his feet.

Diaz has hold of Guin's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Guin seems comfortable defending it but Diaz has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Guin is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Guin is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Diaz couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nick Diaz!
Nick Diaz very nearly forgot to thank O'Brannigan's Fightwear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
