Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Knuckles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eugene Albright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knuckles comes into the arena with St. Anger-Metallica blaring out of the sound system. Eugene Albright has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Albright thows a body shot but no joy.
Knuckles pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Knuckles fakes the leg kick and cracks Albright in the body.
Albright throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Albright gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Knuckles.

Knuckles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Albright closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Knuckles to the mat! Knuckles manages to get full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Albright drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The strikes coming from Albright are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Albright postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Knuckles tries to buck Albright off but Albright is having none of it.

Albright misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Knuckles is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Albright stands up over Knuckles, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Knuckles creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
