The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennet lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Bennet avoids the body shot from Meadows.
Meadows misses with a takedown attempt
and Bennet counters with a slapping leg kick.
Meadows is breathing heavily.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Bennet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bennet lands a nice looking body kick.
Bennet connects with a solid leg kick.
Bennet gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Meadows takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like David Meadows has been cut.

Good leg kick by Bennet there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bennet lands a big head kick that sends Meadows tumbling to the mat! Bennet takes a step backwards and waves Meadows back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Meadows is rocked!
Bennet lands a front kick.
Oh Meadows is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bennet closes the distance and clinches.

The referee calls for Bennet to work.
Bennet drops Meadows onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Meadows is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
David Meadows's cut is getting worse.
Bennet creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Meadows's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Meadows drops to his knees and Bennet pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Noah Bennet!
