Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gim Ruut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Teskixio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruut comes to the cage accompanied by Before I Forget - Slipknot. Teskixio has chosen Nyan Cat (to annoy opponent!) as his entrance music. Gim Ruut has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gim Ruut!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vladimir Teskixio!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Paulo Santos and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teskixio tries a head kick but it misses.
Teskixio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Teskixio trying to control but Ruut is working from the bottom.
Teskixio stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruut swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Teskixio passes Ruut's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Teskixio in particular looking to stall.
Teskixio is keen to just control but Ruut is a slippery customer.
Ruut misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Teskixio is just content to waste time from the top position. Ruut takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Ruut will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Teskixio wants to get up but he can't break Ruut's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ruut is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ruut looking to hit a scissor sweep but Teskixio is one step ahead there.
Ruut wants to get back to his feet but Teskixio is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Teskixio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ruut. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ruut is breathing heavily.
Ruut not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gim Ruut.
Teskixio decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Teskixio wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ruut keeps working.
Teskixio is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Ruut gets full guard.
Ruut lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Teskixio!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Teskixio tries to hold on but Ruut postures up.
Ruut will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Ruut works his way to his opponent's back.
A lull in the action here.
Ruut has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Teskixio is in real trouble here. Ruut gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Teskixio is tapping out! Ruut wins by rear naked choke!
