Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steinar Sting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brij Khali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Andrew Berry and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Khali wants to break free but Sting has control.
Sting lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Sting scores with an uppercut up the middle.
A left hand lands to the body for Sting.

Sting is trying to trip Khali. He has hold of a leg but Khali is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sting persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Sting makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sting working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Khali's head.

Sting prevents Khali from getting back to his feet.

Sting passes Khali's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Khali looks like he's trying to stand up.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sting connects with a nice short shot to Khali's temple.
Sting is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Sting frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sting pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Sting is landing with some decent strikes but Khali is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Sting lands a big shot there that rocks Khali but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

Sting seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Khali for as long as he can get away with.
Sting's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Sting is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Khali is forced to tap! Great finish!
