And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Jamison!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Jorge Garcia and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mullins doesn't manage to clinch there - Jamison circles away.
Jamison looks to score with a jab to the body but Mullins is just out of range.

Jamison instigates a clinch.
Knees in the clinch landing for Jamison.
Jamison is leaning against Mullins and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Mullins wants to stall.
Jamison lands a left hand.
Nice elbow from Jamison.


It looks like Sweaty Mullins has been cut.
Mullins misses with a punch to the body.
Mullins is looking to take this one to the mat.
Jamison dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Jamison tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mullins's elbow.
Jamison lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mullins backwards.

Mullins tries a knee to the head but Jamison blocks it.
Mullins fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jamison is pressed up against the cage. Mullins has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jamison down to the mat. Jamison avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jamison tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mullins swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jamison fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jamison lands a nice looking kick to the body. Mullins takes a step back to recover.
Jamison misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mullins tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jamison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mullins somewhat.

Jamison moves into range and clinches up with Mullins.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mullins jumps guard but Jamison turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Mullins throws a head punch that misses.

Mullins has Jamison pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Mullins pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jamison tumbling to the mat - Mullins dives into Jamison's guard.

Mullins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jamison works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mullins is looking to stand up but Jamison won't let him.

Mullins wants to control from the top but Jamison keeps moving.
Jamison wants to sweep here but Mullins controlling him for the moment.

Sweaty Mullins has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Mullins keeps the fight on the outside.
Jamison tests Mullins's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Jamison connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mullins. Mullins circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jamison scores with the left hand. Mullins knows he should have avoided that one.


Sweaty Mullins's cut is getting worse.
Mullins shoots in for a double leg but Jamison sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Peter Jamison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Mullins fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jamison, pushing him back against the cage.
Mullins avoiding damage as Jamison throws knees to the body.
Jamison lands a hook to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jamison creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Jamison unloads a knee to the mid-section. Mullins lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mullins breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Mullins throws a combination that misses
and Jamison counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Mullins will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Mullins is breathing heavily.
Jamison tries to clinch there but Mullins circles away.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Mullins gets tackled into the cage by Jamison. Jamison maintains the clinch.
Jamison stops a takedown attempt from Mullins.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Jamison obliges.
Jamison lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Jamison putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Mullins in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Mullins takes a shot to the head.
Jamison lands an uppercut.
Jamison misses with a knee strike.
A right hand to the body from Jamison.
Jamison is trying to break the clinch but Mullins is controlling him.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mullins misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Jamison dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Jamison prevents a takedown attempt there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Jamison dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

A decent looking cross lands there for Jamison.

Jamison takes the fight into the clinch.

Mullins is trying to trip Jamison. He has hold of a leg but Jamison is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mullins persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Jamison scrambles and gets back to his feet.
A shot to the liver by Jamison. Beautiful body shot.
Mullins keeps the fight on the outside.
Jamison lands a leg kick that knocks Mullins off balance momentarily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sloppy strikes from Jamison. Those never looked like landing.
Mullins darts in trying to clinch
and Jamison counters with an outside leg kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jamison moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Jamison drives through and clinches with Mullins against the cage.

Mullins wants to break free but Jamison has control.
Mullins is trying to break the clinch but Jamison has him pressed against the cage.

Mullins manages to break the clinch.
Jamison scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Jamison gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Peter Jamison seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Jamison is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Jamison.
Jamison crunches a lovely knee into Mullins's ribcage.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jamison is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Mullins is keeping busy.
Jamison manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Jamison with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Jamison takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Mullins tries to break the clinch but Jamison is controlling the position.
Jamison lands with a right to the head.
Mullins looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Jamison is working Mullins over against the cage.
Jamison lands a body shot.
Jamison stalling the fight.
Mullins can't get the takedown.
Mullins takes a shot to the head.

Sweaty Mullins's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jamison walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Mullins drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Jamison swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Mullins's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Jamison!
