Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oktawian August (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tilibra Tamano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think August might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hit 'em up. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

August fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Tamano, pushing him back against the cage.

August breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
August tries to score with a low kick but Tamano moves his leg out of the way.
August falls off balance throwing a combination
and Tamano counters with a lovely straight right hand!
August takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
August throws a combination. Tamano tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Tilibra Tamano has been cut.
August buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
August lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tamano circles away quickly and effectively.
Tamano slips a jab and a cross from August.
Tamano closes the distance and clinches up with August, looking for a takedown. Tamano pushes August against the cage but August circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oktawian August seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
August keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No joy there for August, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Tamano tries to score a power double leg takedown but August sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tamano somewhat.
Oktawian August has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tilibra Tamano.
August moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

and August counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Tamano thinking.

and August counters by moving into the clinch.
Tamano is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

August misses with an attempted mid kick.
August just misses with a punch to the body.
August showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tamano.
August misses the shot to the body.
August throws a series of punches but Tamano moves out of range.
August jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Tamano is trying desperately to land a takedown but August is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Tamano.

August pushes Tamano up against the cage in a clinch.

August breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
August moves into range and connects with a jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and August counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Tamano badly! August follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Tamano out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as August finished him against the cage.
