And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eklund misses with an uppercut.
Ahriman blocks a jab.
Ahriman takes a kick to the side of the head.
Ahriman avoids the body shot from Eklund.
Ahriman throws a body punch but Eklund moves out of range.
Ahriman dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Eklund swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Ahriman tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eklund swivels and escapes.
A looping hook to the body misses from Eklund. Ahriman does a little dance to reset his feet.

Eklund throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Eklund swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ahriman.
Ahriman steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Eklund.
Ahriman needs to keep his hands up - Eklund had a free shot at his head there.

Ahriman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eklund looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Ahriman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Ahriman is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ahriman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Ahriman! Eklund is hurt baaadly! Ahriman is firing away with more strikes - Eklund is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

A less than humble Magnus Ahriman misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
