PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fook yu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). yu has chosen MegaDeth- This Day We FIGHT! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Morgan Punch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fook yu!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Punch, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
yu drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Punch looks to land a combination. yu sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

yu is rocked!
Punch lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but yu circles away quickly and effectively.
Punch throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
yu scores with a one two! Punch had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Punch works over yu's head and body with a nice combination.
yu is still on wobbly legs! Can Punch finish him?
Punch moves in looking to clinch but yu pushes him off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Punch lands a nice shot to the body.
Punch drops yu with a straight right hand, right on the button! Punch follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Morgan Punch!
